A-level ICT students at Ormiston Victory Academy in Costessey have been working with a live website, thanks to Chris Gulliver of netmatters.co.uk, which is based in Attleborough.
The company provided a website, dedicated hosting and technical support for the students to work on.
Netmatters is an established web design firm, which specialises in developing business through good website presentation and optimisation.
Mr Gulliver discussed his business procedures with students including the planning cycle, sticking to deadlines, the importance of revision and adaptation of concepts into a finalised design and testing.
Principal Rachel de Souza said: “We are very grateful to netmatters for providing a live website for our students to work on. This is a great example of town and gown working together to improve the quality of teaching and training for young people.”
